Canada Pushes For Tougher Formaldehyde Regulations

Canada’s parliament passed new regulations on formaldehyde emissions from wood panel products in line with current U.S. EPA standards. While Canadian and U.S. manufacturers already meet these stringent U.S. standards, many offshore importers have not made similar commitments. High formaldehyde emitting products can and do reach Canada and the U.S.
